I want to mod it so that Permanent alliances can be made earlier in the game. I know how to, I just cant find where Permanent alliances are in the folders! All I need is the location of it, and Ill be good from there. Thanks! ^_^ BTW, could I get the same for Defense Pacts?

Its in the CIV4TechInfoes.xml file. Thats a listing of all the technologies. Just go to the one you want to learn it at and change:

<bPermanentAllianceTrading>0</bPermanentAllianceTrading>

to:

<bPermanentAllianceTrading>1</bPermanentAllianceTrading>

Then you might want to go change the one you learn it at now to 0 (or else you will be able to do it with either Tech).
