help needed - editing a leaderhead with SceneViewer

I'm trying to edit a bit a leaderhead.
I've downloaded two Ekmek LHs (see the thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=287117).
I simply want to put Basil's crown on Mursilis head. I've loaded these two nifs on SceneViewer, dragged Basil's NiTriShape"crown" object and dropped into Mursilis correspondant tree node. It's shown correctly. Now I save, and here's an error; the save fails and the nif is corrupted. I restore the files and try again: same result; I keep trying, but it keeps giving this error.
Am I doing a mistake?

You might want to try copying the parent node of the crown instead of the crown itslef - sometime the paren tnode will hold additional nodes - like effects or something, that are needed.

You schould try NifScope instead, it is more stable.

In this case, this particular element does not have a parent node: it's contained in the main node (where all the other elements and parent nodes are located).
Anyway, I'll try NifScope; maybe, it's a saving bug of SceneViewer.
