I'm having a problem trying to export a stubborn unit. Blender is giving me the error message:

non uniform scaling not supported. Workaround: Apply scale and rotation: (Ctrl+a)

I've had this error many, many times before. And every time, I've just done what it says. Ctrl+a, apply "Scale and Rotation to ObData". And then it exports normally. This has been the case in 99% of incidents up until now.

But this time, it's somehow different. I've done that, on every object in the scene. And it's still giving me the same error. Blender refuses to export my unit until I fix a problem that isn't there. It's really getting annoying.

Can anyone have a look and tell me what might be wrong?

i can say that the problem is caused by the skeleton (a bit weird, it seems that you used a bone transplant (in nifviewer the bones of the unit skeleton were attached to the other skeleton bones) skeleton as base), removing it and the model could be exported. No idea how to fix this beside a rerig

Strange

I re imported the skeleton after this started happening with the skeleton I was working with, and that didn't fix it. But it was just another copy of the skeleton from the same unit, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. straaange.

I'll give that a try, and see if I can accomplish it.

perhaps best import the Civ4 vanilla skeleton of the unit which animation you want to use (i know that such bone transplant skeleton can make a trouble trying to import them in Blender - but such an error i hadn´t seen before)
