Hello people, I'm in desperate need of help in CivIII. I have several cities that are around 2-4 pop. and I have aqueducts in all of them and they stay at 2-4 with the number yellow and the numbers in the bar --. How can I stop this? Plus, how I could I get my treasury from losing 12-14 golds a turn? Plese help. Thanks in advance

Yellow numbers mean that the city doesn't produce enough food for growth. Open the city window and allocate workers to squares producing more food. You may have to irrigate some squares if none of them produce 2 or more food.

Re: the treasury. You're going to have to adjust the slider at the top of the Domestic Adviser's screen. Drop Research down from say, 50% to 40%, or lower. Either that or, if you have quite a few cities, set a few of them to producing Wealth until you can build a few Marketplaces when you discover Currency. But, as 'Copter Pilot says, get irrigating and starting feeding your folks.

Which technology irrigation because my workers doesn't seem to know it.

If you're not playing a mod or something like that, you shoud be able to irrigate right from the beginning, as long as there's a source of fresh water (lake, river or adjacent irrigated tile) nearby.

Damnit, my civ has no river or anything bu the rest has lakes and stuff.
