Help PTW multi problem

Ive got installed civ3, conquests and play the world and they are all patched civ3 has 1.29f conquests has no patch then play the world has the patch 1.27f which when i insall it and clic on the icon the games says insert the correct cd for play the world but i have it in the cddrive but as soon as i uinstall the patch it wrksd fine.
Why is this what is the reason please help me so i can play in multiplayer ive got the 1.21f patch for it an it works fine but i need the new patch to work.

Why are you patching PtW if you have Conquests installed?

Unless you REALLY want to use Play the World, I suggest getting the 1.15 patch for Conquests and ditching Play the World altogether (it's included with Conquests anyway).

Am I missing something?
