help with c2c

hey guys me and a mate have a save game on caveman 2 cosmos in hotseat mode
and i have completely screwed up the game speed im in 1966AD and just got the wooden man o war ship unlocked
been looking every where to decode the save file but found nothing of use can anyone help??
i need to change the game year to the appropriate year for the era im in and change the game speed to the proper game speed for the giant earth map v2

(i have edited the giant earth map v2 to include more civs)

Don't worry over the "date". It can never be made accurate as there are too many variables. It's basically just a placeholder/visual aid on how well you are doing by Era and research/Techs researched.

Don't know that changing gamespeeds is possible or practical for that matter. What Gamespeed did you choose?

Well I think the original speed was something like eternity and I've set it to normal
There's a couple other settings I got running on it that I would like to change on the file
Like turning off no vassal states and turning alliances on (accidentally turned it off) as neither of us wants to start back in 50000bc again lol

If it's possible to decode the save file to make such edits that'll be grand
