Help with installing/crashing/instant defeat please.

Hi everyone!
Ok, wanted to try the mods, (I have BNW, i'm not sure if that makes it crash) so i went to this site:

in Manual download there are four links, the first two are the same (Communitas and unofficial patch), G&K enhanced, and Vanilla enhanced. Downloaded the last three, as the link for the first two is the same.

open game, and G&K says missing dependencies. Communitas and unofficial vanilla can be enabled, but game crashes the moment i set it up, with all standard options.

If only communitas is enabled, game loads, but i can only see ice and i get instantly defeated.

Cache gets erased and moduserdata too.
Not sure if this goes here, but i don't know where else to put it.

Any help you can get me will be appreciated.

CEP Basic Beta is the only one in the project to have been updated since the summer patch. The other three (CivUP, GEM, VEM) have not been updated for their respective expansions yet.

So in other words, delete all the other mods from this project other than CEP Basic Beta and you should be fine.

EDIT: I misread your post. There seems to be turn 0 problems on most of the maps. Try using the Communitas map and see if that loads for you.
