Help with linking

If I want to give a link in a post, how to I post it as a series of words such as "Source" or something, as opposed to the entire url? Thanks

(I felt too embarrassed to ask before, seeing as how it probably isn't that difficult to figure out, but here I am!)

U type the words u want and higlight it with ur mouse, then click on insert link and type ur link.

thats the easy way, if u want to type it all it gives something like 'URL="http://www.civfanatics.com"]Civfanatics[/URL"

Of course [ and ] oppening and ending the sequence.

when you click post a reply there's a little world with a chain on it if you click on that it will do it for you
