help with religion

I have installed a new religion, sikhism, and created buttons etc but all the religion buttons in the city screen are all messed up. the hindu symbol comes up for sikhism and buddhist for hindu etc. any ideas on how to fix this

Oh, I had a problem similar. Make sure in the Religion Info xml file you have sikhism as the last entry.

I have a sort of similar problem. I am unable to edit the GameFont.tga file (when I do, the game crashes) and so my new religion (zoroastrianism) is without a symbol in many places (most notably on the city names). Does anyone know why I might not be able to modify the GameFont.tga file?

Yeah. Same things after happening to me now.

I'm not sure why it's going so far as to cause crashes, but the GameFont file has a reputation for being very sensitive to changes. You have to be careful to keep all the purple borders intact, and add those little blue dots after the icon.

It took me a long time to finally get mine working with changes, and hopefully I'll not have to alter it again.
