Help With Steam Launcher

steam launcher stopped working... been playing or a while with relative ease... that was until last night. when I hit the start button from my steam library, it goes to running like it's supposed to, but then after a few seconds the start button reappears prompting me to hit start again... I already tried verifying game files...

please help

When I have had those issues before, it was often related to network issues (my PC couldn't talk to the Steam servers) or my Steam client was having issues that it wasn't telling me about. I addressed it by trying to update the Steam client and rebooting. You may have tried that already.

steam is up to date, and rebooted and still having the issue
