I have Civilization III, vanilla, and I successfully installed "TeTurkhan's Test of Time Mod" (say that 3 times fast ). I tried playing the World Map and Cities, but I cant because it is in BIX file mode. Is there a way to convert them into Civ3Ed form? Will I need an expansion pack to play Test of Time (the mod, not the CivII expansion pack, obviously)?
I have some problems. There no a lot of units.
First problem:
Art\Units\Medieval Japanese Settler\Medieval Japanese Settler.ini NOT FOUND!
Art\Units\Medieval Japanese Worker\Medieval Japanese Worker.ini NOT FOUND!
Art\Units\Otomo No Makuta\Otomo no Makuta.ini NOT FOUND!
and other.
From the scenarios files(TETurkhan Test of Time (World Map).bix) i take a big list of units which i need.
Allready i found only dinos(in The Unit Library).
These Units are from PtW extras. If you don't have it, I can't help you. (P.S. Next time, don't bump an 11 month old thread. Just post in its seperate thread.)
If you do not have Civ 3 PTW or Conquests, it is illegal for anyone to copy these for you and send them to you. You would have to find mod's that are for vanilla Civ 3, or purchase Civ 3 Complete for the whole package.
You can get the PTW extra units here at CFC at this thread (WWII) and this thread (Prehistoric). If you need Medieval Japan ones, too, a search for them should turn them up (I already have them, so I'm thinking they probably were included in Conquests for the Sengoku scenario).
As Steph has posted in the WWII thread I linked to, and I've read on CFC that redistribution of the PTW Extra units is Firaxis-approved, I'm pretty sure you won't run into any lawyers by downloading these. And downloading all the units does do get TETurkhan working - I came across this thread trying to fix the exact same error you were encountering.
