I have XP Pro and some funny things happen. Some programs which are programed to load on startup don't have their icons show up in the systray. For example I have AIM and the running guy is supposed to show up by the date on startup of my computer; but it doesn't. And I reinstalled. And this also happens with my VAIO action setup and a pop-stopper program. Any suggestions? :)

Do you have a little arrow icon in the systray? If so try clicking on that and you might have some hidden icons there. I would give you a screen shot but I have 2K at work, not XP, sorry.

Post back and let me know if that worked.

No I disabled that damn arrow :) so it's all visible

Now it all started working all of a sudden  Strange....

Now another thing :D When AIM automatically loads, how do you get it not to prompt you to sign on, but just open in the systray?

That would be in the preferences of AIM....can't help you much there as I don't use it. I would suggest clicking around in like files, or tools (if that is even an option) and look for something called preferences or options....it should be somewhere in there.

OK XP reverted back so more problems  Pain in the neck  :)

Sounds like user problems! ;) :D
