Uhmm I use the Marla's map and the little program that allows me to start at the correct starting position for each civilization. Well I would like to know how I could use another civilization and make it start in the right place. I would like to use a singapore or an Australia, or even a azores civilization. I don't really care about the correct name or anything. Just that I would like to start in a specific location. How would I do? If I just switch like the Iroquois or some other civilization's starting location to australia or somethign I doubt it would work since there aren't civ specific civs. I don't know how the program works but I geuss it uses the tiles on the map. Or is there some new patch thats lets you do things a-la-civilization 2?
