So Prince is just too hard? In normal games I don't see the AI building so many units. I thought being always at war is the cause of it, since it appears to me that even though you are barbarian, the game shows that you are at war with the AIs, thus implying a diplomatic relationship that might affect AI behaviour.

Prince+40 turns on a tiny or duel pangaea map might work ok. I wouldn't totally rule anything out. I suppose you could get lucky.
