hELPP japaneese problem :/ funny problem :P

lol i am playing with the chineese and those civilizations are dead: babylon, india and zulus.
japaneese posseed no cities, no money, nothing. but they are in the game and i am even sometimes in war against them
i looked 40 times in the "locate city" and there is NO japaneese city :/
where are they?
may be they have a settler remaining somewhere in the map?
what do you think about this?

Most likely they have a settler floating around in a boat somewhere that got out before you defeated them.

I had the same thing. Several centuries later two OTHER civ's got in a war and razed a city. That opened a spot for settinging. Lo and behold, Washington was founded, with Despot Lincoln still at the helm.

It was pretty funny, actually - they reappeared on the histogram with a smidgen of power, etc. Their death was swift.
