Her Majesty's Modern British Unit Pack

Absolutely splendid!

Tony, minor problems report:
Modern infantry and paratrooper have no shadows in the Attack animation. It doesn't ruin the animations, but units look a bit strange. Problems may be observed on .gif files attached to the post #1.
Lynx helicopter smoke has the default color nuance, so changing the civ color to red causes a bit strange smoke color.

Anyway, great units! :)

Anthony, do you plan any units for Eastern Europe communist states (DDR, Poland, Yugoslavia...)?

Wyrmshadow, Gwendoline, and Vinegar Joe have made almost everything I need for the Eastern Bloc. But I'm hoping to hammer out a small handful of Soviet and Yugoslavian units at some point.

Just wanted to say the new units are terrific, I especially love the two units armed with the SLR. Then again I'm not the most impartial of people in that I actually got a metric FAL myself, unfortunately ammo is next to impossible to find and when you can the prices are outrageous.

Thanks. But is .308 that hard to find? In Texas?

Wolfshade, what is the default color nuance? Is this something you spot in game? I didn't see anything in Flicster, but the red tips on the rotors don't always translate well after indexing.

Tony, I'll post screenshots if you don't mind - it's better to see once than to hear about 100 times. :)

To be honest I haven't looked all that much recently but the election of Obama as president and some of the more recent mass shootings, especially the one in Newtown Connecticut, and the subsequent efforts to pass gun control legislation really unnerved allot of people who own firearms or who wanted to own one and caused allot of panic buying. For a while it seemed like people were buying up any kind of ammunition in sight and allot calibers became scarce and/or more expensive than usual, .223/5.56 was going for quite a bit more than normal. .308 was never really all that cheap to begin with, last time I bought any I seem to remember it was around .90 cents a round or so, which doesn't sound all that bad until you head off to the gun range to shoot off a few hundred rounds. I might be wrong on this but I believe back in the 90s there was some decent priced surplus .308/7.62 NATO to be had when allot of western and NATO countries were liquidating their Cold War stocks or transitioning to 5.56mm.

Any who all the units you have produced are really quite impressive, especially so considering you haven't been at this quite as long as some other people and the variety you have created, i.e., infantry, armor, helicopters.

How did you get the Berlin Brigade camo? I've been looking for a long time for a complete pattern.

Any time I need a texture that I don't have or isn't mapped, like the Berlin camo, I just make it in the gimp. If I need to rotate, crop, or zoom in the texture, a lot of times that will get done in gimp too rather than using the Bryce rotations.
