That's very nice of You.
Especially that the scenario didn't get all that much attention. Thanks for all the praises. Though I must admit the scenario has some faults. As I wrote somewhere there, the map and city placement were very old. I changed the map manually by cheat editor, but couldn't correct everything. And unit graphics are sometimes not at all accurate... But I had not much sources.
I even made some mistakes in the city names

After a short course of Syriac
of which I remember hardly anything more than the alphabet, and which constituted of reading the Bible and legend of st Abgar, I have no doubt that Orhai is a Syriac, not Greek name. I'm pretty ashamed of this mistake.
Anyway, once again thank You very much. Especially for the mentioning of the events. After the practical lack of events in Outremer, I wanted to make the best use out of them. So... Did You manage to save the Empire?
When it comes to Heraclius, I attach file I was supposed to show weeks ago.
Haven't done much in a while (been on holidays - I took laptop with me, but battery is broke,
and it didn't work in France), and will not do anything in next 3 weeks; I'm supposed to learn
to my exam. If I fail, I'll be thrown out of studies. And the teacher doesn't like me. And he's
the one who is preparing the exam, and the one who is checking it.
But after the exam, unless I'll jump out though the window during it, I'll get back to work.
On the picture, You can sea;
-Avar cavalry (based on a picture posted at Apolyton by someone once)
-Heavy and...
-Light Persian-Sasanid cavalry, based on the book I used while working over Komnenai
-Cavalry and...
-infantry of the same book, "of first Turkish khanate". I was supposed to use it for Khazars,
but as I found a more proper source, it won't be used.
-Slavic grads city style; based on different drawings of grads in Poland, Bulgaria
or wherever.
-Pre-romanesque city style, based on some Irish church, Theoderic's tomb in Ravenna,
some church in... Germigny-des-Pres (checked), and earlier version of St Peter's basilica
in Rome, according to a renaissance (or was it medieval?) drawing (I had some doubts in using
the second and the last, as they are located in places that belonged to Byzantium, and anyway,
when it comes to the basilica, some of the additions shown are undoubtly of later times. But I liked them.
-Sasanid city style (as Stefan Haertel informed me, the palaces were outside the city, and the cities were probably round,
but it was too late and I have little will to change that), based on buildings of Firuzabad, Sarvistan (whatever),
and some other. The biggest one is supposed to be based on Ctesiphon palace, but it will be a hard task.
-Byzantine city style, mentioned earlier. You know, I was supposed to base one city style on St Simon's
basilica somewhere in Syria, but forgot that... And during my trip, I saw a nice book about architecture of Constantine
the Great. But it was in Germany, and the book, though old, costed 18 euro or so. And it is pretty much for me.
-flags (Byzantine, French-not quite correct, but correct according to the legend, Avar, Persian
Khazar. I'll have to work a bit more over them.
