I came in on Civ 6, and loved it.......took a, I duuno, maybe like 6 month breather then came back today......bunch of updates. "Oh how freaking cool! They've fixed my pet peeve!" which was tile info popups over the top of blah blah blah it's not important and no-one cares.
What I am NOT liking however is that it's [rage adjective]-ing rebooted my pc three times in the last ~5 hours. I mean, I'm just playing along with no other apps running. For no apparent reason "beep!" "We've encountered a problem", some message about addressing unprotected memory space, and boom my pc reboots.
Someone calmer and sober-er than me would likely post something along the lines of "what platform are you on bro?". Irrelevant. It's not an unusual platform I'm running on and regardless, there's no excuse.....well I mean there's always excuses if you have imagination - but that would detract from my rant and besides, an upgrade is meant to make things better, not worse. If it makes things worse, we call it a downgrade.
*thumbs down icon*
Did they not test this? [repeat question marks to highlight the absurdity] ?????
Before making the changes did they decide that the game was too good and that they should munt it some?
While making the changes, were they high?
After eating their peanut butter and jelly sandwich did they go home and say to themselves "yaaah, good enough"?
Was this an intentional change to make the world a suckier place?
*thumbs down icon* again.
In summary, the game would be significantly better if it didn't reboot my 'pooter.
