Hey people,

Excellent website. I've been looking for something like this since '98. First class site for a first class collection of games (except Alpha Centauri, which I don't like much at all).

Is it anyone else or am I the only one who prefers the original graphics for Civ 2? Not too keen on the animated people, and it all seems a bit dark.

Anyway - see you on here in the future, I'm off to whip the bottoms of the French. Always good for a laugh!

Hi Valdy.com,

I think Civ2's units are very nice too. They can be easily distinguished on the map. if you have Test of Time, there are a few patches in the downloads collection that will lighten the graphics.

Sure Thunderfall,
but I'd prefer the (prehistoric) 2d graphics of Civ1. I don't really like Civ2 units design. Perhaps because I don't like "3D looking" units...

I must say I agree with Valdy.com too. The french need to be wipped.

But yes, I like the colorfulness and the distinguishness (is that a word?) of the different units in the Civ1 better.

It seems like they're gona have the same oblique perspective in civ 3 too.

Isn't there an other way?

In the future, it would be cool if they had a version with a real globe for the map, or what do you all think?

Me man enough? I play against you all the time. I try to establish embassies with your cities all the time. I'm the barbarians, but your subtle armed forces always kills me for gold.
