Hidden trait?

when is the hidden trait for sidar going to be inplented?

If not, waht shall it be?

Free for suggs!

The Sidar and the Svartalfar are scheduled to be implemented in the Shadow phase. That will probably be when we do the Hidden trait as well. Right now the plan is that it would keep a perpetual fog of war over the civs area regardless of explored area of others. But its still a long way off and very open to change by the time we get around to looking at that.

Please post trait questions in the traits thread (which also has the answer to this question): Traits Design

That sound very good actually but nearly too good...

But still sidar got no UUs and no hero? and is a very hard civ to play

The Sidar arent implemented yet so they dont have any UU's. When we make them playable we will add stuff to them.

Mention not that vile being's name here! Ugh, he has caused me so much trouble in the past...
maybe you rely too much on heros?
don't you have a backline of casters?

I just feel rather silly when Sphener has to run from some hero gotten at the tech "Poisons."
the ethereal blade adds magic to the poison, making it the bane of divine, normal, and unearthly.
it will consume the very flesh and bones of any hero, immortal or not.

(isn't sphener already like twice the strength anyway?)

It's not that I think it's a bad mechanic. I just hate that hero with a fiery passion. On a related note, is anyone else noticing that Morgoth tends to do very well (going by score and technology) compared to other Civs, despite the fact that he has a non-working trait and refuses to have open borders?

I've noticed the infernals doing much better lately. No idea why, except maybe the big demon hanging out in thier capital..
