Have any of you ever read these books? I know they're meant to be children's books and Northern Lights certainly is but by the end they are a lot darker and perhaps more subtle and explore concepts not really touched upon before like Quantum Theory. The very fact that it is what could be described as 'an unhappyending' terndas to move them asway from the children's market. I really enjoyed reading them and am looking forward to the accompanying 'The Book Of Dust' being published. What do you lot think?
