You really can't compare the difficulties in this way. The goal of every good milker is to have the conquest phase of the game completed by 1000 AD. On Pangaea maps this is possible for the lower difficulties but as the difficulty level increases, the conquest phase gets longer and longer. While I have posted high scores in Warlord, Regent, and Emepror as well as a fastest finish in Deity I can tell you that I have never achieved the 1000 AD conquest goal.
My Warlord game achieved conquest by 1140 AD, my Regent game achieved conquest by 1080 AD, and my Emperor game achieved conquest by 1275 AD. My Deity fastest finish game achieved the conquest phase by about 1465 AD so I don't really expect my current high score attempt to do any better. Go read Sir Pleb's Sid game to see when he achieved the conquest phase.
The reason this is important is until you reach conquest you really can't start milking in earnest and the quicker you do that the higher your overall score will be. It takes a lot of work to just get to the milking phase in the higher difficulty games while my Warlord and Regent games required more time in the pure milking phase.
The most competative difficulty level out there is Monarch so go give that a try, I think I'm currently 9th.
