Annalects and sayings differ from quotes posted on the other thread. The thing with annals is that its the recorded conversations of great people to normal people like Confucius. In short, annals are conversations. Sayings, on the other hand, is based on a man's wisdom of judgement and his surroundings.

Let me give you a start:

Scholar: "Confucius, what is the golden rule?"

Confucius: "The golden rule is:

"Do not do unto others what you don't want to do to you."

(the bolded group of words is an annalect.)

Rules:

1) Include at least one annalect or saying in your posts.

2) No jokes, bad words or anything offending to others.

3) No quotes!
