I must admit I haven't played it yet(and probably won't, I sold my copy of civ3 a while ago), but this surely includes a new jab at separatists? Or rather, a total silence about them?

I have an issue when trying to load up this game. Firstly, I have Civ 3 Complete and the default installation directory isn't valid for me as I have it under 'd:\games\civ3'.

I have the option for the mod listred under 'civ content' when I load up the game, however when I select a nation to play, it begins loading then stops and says 'Load Error - File not Found - 'sounds\bild\misc\ghostsofarcadia.mp3'.

I installed the mod to d:\games\civ3.

Any suggestions?

The installer places sound files into the Conquests sounds\build\misc folder. If your game is installed in something other than the default location, you must still make sure all the other folders and files are placed where they need to go.

The default path is C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete

I will assume you have made your own directory for your Civ complete in the D drive.

In that civ3 folder you mention, do you have a Civilization III Complete folder?

Let me know, and maybe I can direct you how to install the MOD.

Did anyone make any headway with a mac version of the mod? Just following up on behalf of all the interested macintosh parties who have been expressing interest.

If they used games to make learning about history fun, then I would have been a great student. I think this is a great idea. IT is a shame that only one country has done this and more should be encouraged to do so.

I think as long as you guys don't use an installer (ex. InstallSheid) and just zip the mod, Mac users should be able to use it just fine. You could also make an installer version for the Macs.
