What I liked is how they handled entries in the Guide. Also, the Vogons were very well done.

Vogons were good ... they could have really stuffed it by using CGG ... they really worked well as animaltronic puppets

I thought the part in the book where Ford and Arthur were being dragged to the airlock by the Vogon guard (Resistance is useless! ) was worth a scene in the movie, but apparently not.
