The "My Submissions" page has been updated. It now has a tab for Quattromasters which lists your contributing games.

First off, thanks Dianthus! Definitely nice.

Just for clarification, in order to make Quattromaster we only have to have one submission for each category, correct? As an example, in order to meet the Map Quest category we only have to submit one game for each map setting, not two games per map setting. I assume the two games listed in our personal QC tab is just to list the best two scores that will be used when calculating our Qscore, but wanted to make sure.

Again, thanks for the addition!

Correct. :)

Thanks Superslug.

One con, and this isn't towards the HoF, but by having that QC tab it shows just how bad my scores are. All those really low Qscores don't look very good glaring out at me.

Maybe this is the HoF Staff's way of suggesting to redo them later.

They aren't in a particular order are they?
Wouldn't it be even better if they were ordered high-low?

The new personal Quattromaster's area is awesome, thank you!!

Thanks all for the compliments, appreciated :D.

They're kind of in an order, they're the two best games. But yes, it would be better if they were sorted.

Quick question: In league of nations do only the best 18 civs count or all civs? If all civs count, I should be buying Warlords to improve my score :p

Whats a score victory and how to achieve it?

Technically, any victory is a score victory, since all games have scores. Score tables are just by highest score.

(I say all games have scores because I don't think anyone's pulled off a zero point win yet in this HOF. It happened once in III. )

So a score win is a freebie? Like: if you won a game, you got a score game?

Yes, that is correct. On the other hand, maximizing your score and minimizing your finish date require different strategies. Typically, a game that does well in a 'score table' will not be competitive in the table for the victory condition that was used.

I can see how to get 0 points for wonders, population, territory, and win bonus, and still get a win, but I can't see how to pull off 0 points for techs. Your two starting techs still generate points.

I have a question about what "You may only use each map once" actually means I used your start file checker to see if my most recent submission would fail the map settings or not, it said "map Map already used" and im not sure exactly what that means. I had the map settings as pangea ancient and everything else the games defualt pangea settings. And on a side about the same game when I was almost finished I saved the game because i was not sure if you could vassalize a leader for a conquest victory and then reloaded that save after i had allready finished to see if I could so if i had known that I would have done so My question about this is since I did not know is if I could use that save?

P.S. i just found the answer I needed about map allready used.

Regarding your first question, if the checker said map already used, it's already in the database somehow and we'd reject it as a duplicate.

On your second question, replaying of turns is strictly forbidden. If you want to play out different paths from earlier saves to educate yourself on "what if I had....", that's a good learning tool, but only do it after you submit.

ok thanks for the clarifacation by the way you respond very fast
btw http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=200202 i had just looked at this thread after my first post and i had allready played through and submitted the game before i used the start file checker so i asume that was why it said map allready used

what about hitting 2 victory conditions the same turn ?
recalling from c3 the game could not be conted for more than 1 condition ?
which one will be preferred ?

Have you actually got a game where that happened?
