1) I note a link exists from games to writeups (good stuff), only for my games, only the first submitted game has the link on it, whereas all four games have actually been written up (in the same thread). Would it be better to writeup games only in seprate threads?

No need for different threads. We *may* eventually have the option for users to give writeups for already submitted games via their My Submissions page.

It's not quite that easy. To finish Pentathlon you have to complete all five map sizes. Also, each game can't just meet HOF specs, it has to be on the HOF tables, which in the case of Tiny/Conquest/Chieftain could be tough to pull.

Does this mean that you can also be bumpped off the Pentathlon too? For example, you may be on it this month, but one of your entries on the HOF tables may get bumpped off next month.

The easiest would be to play on small,standard or large sid.. since there is just 0 to 2 entries (only 0 or 1 listed, but I have a standard one submitted) in each you are guaranteed to stay on the list for a long time even with ****ty games (and I know you can win on sid )

Bleh, I think thats what I'll do. I almost finished my first HoF game: Large/domination/emperor/mayas after spending about 20 hours in 3 days, but I dont think I can keep this up. Might as well wait for civ4 to really kick in

There are plenty of free spaces WOO, so you could easily get some sort of award by going for some of those. Alternatively if you want a challenge you could aim for one of boogaboo's many #1 spots, like I just did .
