Hoping for C3C PBEM game

SpikeIt said:
By the way, its good PBEM etiquette to list battle results in the thread so people know what is going on. I have to say I was a bit surprised when I opened the save file.
I echo these words. Either in the thread, or send in an e-mail.

Heathen Calis,

For centuries we have had peace between us, ever since your goodwill gesture of letting the RSS Regentia sail through your borders so many years ago, to our technology trading and mutual invasion of the vile Iroquois. And now you ruin it. You break our treaty without any notice and massacre a poor regenthorse. All I can say is: Why? Why betray such a good relationship?

You’re unlucky to commit such a crime. By breaking my trust, you have placed yourself in a position even lower than vikingruler. One turn ago, I thought you the noblest of civilizations. Someone more hated than vikingruler was deemed impossible in my eyes. And yet, you’ve created it.

Turn156-PowerGraph.jpg

You’ve created it at the worst possible time. Regentia is in a golden age, pumping out her regenthorses. She pumps out miniregenthorses. She is master of the high seas. Her power bar dwarfs your own. And yet, you decide to attack the greatest power in the game. Your word is no longer believable, and anyone who holds that quality disgusts me.

is not tolerated, nor forgiven. Because of your treachery, any and all cities bearing a Celtic flag upon capture shall be instantly burned. And I mean torched. There will be no survivors. May God have mercy upon your people Calis, because I will most certainly not.

Humbly,
RegentMan
Premier of Regentia, Governor and Lord Protectorate of the Iroquois Nation, and Punisher and Dictator of Celtia

Outside of Salamanca, a regenthorse tears up the irrigation and road north of the heathen city.

Battle Logs (Calis) said:
Outside the disgusting mess the Celts call Gergovia, the Celts have a stack of six worker brigades clearing jungle. Well, they had six worker brigades. Do not forget the Regentian navy, Calis, especially when it comes to reinforcements. Troops heading for vikingruler can very easily be redirected towards your pathetic cities.

Outside of Gergovia
(4/4) Miniregenthorse (ancient cavalry) captures six Celtic workers. Three are murdered.

Turn 156 played and sent.

Very well. War has been declared. You better just give me 2nd city right now, save some lives.

Played and sent.

Where was your etiquette at that time?

This makes me think: "Was there a war actually?"

Perhaps this will answer your statement, SpikeIt:

***here was a battle log orginally***

Turn 152 played and sent.

Not too many turns after you had such an exhausting war, you are able to land such many of your horses on another continent?

- How does SpikeIt know that I also attacked Regentmen before Regentman got the turn?

Thus, I had my reasons not to post anything that happened during my turn. Maybe I have no prove, but you guys shouldn't show at other people with your bloodspilled fingers...

And by the way. I didn't attack everything in vincity. Vikingruler is unharmed...

My nobility came to an end when I felt to "be played for a su**er". (hope the grammar is right)

From now on I will let you know, what happens during my turns.

I am quite sure this thing is over soon anyways...

Since I was not at war with anyone and had an embassy with Regentia and the Iroquois, the F4 screen very clearly showed your status as being at war with both nations (Regentia and myself). Given the massive stack you had outside of VikingRuler's city, the sudden disappearance of my peace keepers, and the bright red line connecting Regentia and the Celts, the status of what happened was fairly apparent.

As for "attacking everything in the vicinity", that was a slight overstatement by myself, as the war status and the continued existance of the purple city shows the Celts to still be at peace with the beleaguered Iroquois.

Regardless, the Persian populace mourns over the loss of their troops overseas. A one word cry is ringing thoughout the streets... "REVENGE!"

Battle results were exchanged by e-mail since it didn't concern the citizens of the new world.

If you prefer to keep results hidden from the other sovereign nations not involved in your battles, sending by e-mail is fine. Given the nature of PBEM games, its extremely helpful to exchange battle logs.

Do you write the battlelogs manually or is there a tool or smething?

As I stated above, I had a reason for not posting the results, which was my doubts about yours and Regentmans deeds. Anyhow basically I have no problems with posting the logs.

And you are right about the embassies. Forgot about these. My bad!

What did your two peacekeepers expect to do with the forces of Regentman? Even for my army they were no match actually.

The final result of the battle was: No losses for the celts (some retreats from RED Gallic Swords of course), two dead "(Im)mortals", and one dead Rider.

EDIT: GPS to vikingruler...

I shouldn't spam too much here...

But here seems to be yet another coincidence...A ship full of ancient cavalry right next to my borders...to land at the right time...

You have to do them manually. I have Microsoft Word open in the background and alt+tab after every battle. Either post the logs in the thread, or e-mail them. SpikeIt and myself e-mailed them to each other, as the war didn't concern you two. I published vikingruler's because I thought we had an understanding, and to show SpikeIt I still had it in me.

With no targets left on my continent, my eyes went over to the arrogant Iroquois. Now they have even more reason to stay.

I trust my miniregenthorses are unharmed?

Thank you. :)

They were off to give vikingruler some trouble in his eastern lands. However, when you attacked, I figured I'd cause some trouble in your eastern lands.

My believe is that I was just faster in doing that than you were. Maybe that was my mistake. Now I am the evil guy around. :satan:

Thanks for the battle results as well. As RegentMan stated, manually is the only way. They don't necessarily need to be as detailed as RegentMans, but wins and losses, and units are helpful. Whether they are vets, elites, or regs I don't consider terribly important. Griping about RNG blips is always welcome.

As for my impressive force of peacekeepers - they were there to observe and to show some committment to VikingRuler with the only units I had in the area.

Yeah, I am known to be a very detailed reporter. I haven't seen anyone else who is as quite as much as I am. :undecide: Oh well, as long as the message gets across.

Did I just use "as" five times up above?...

Ohh! I forgot to mention that one of my Medieval Infantry attacked one of your microhorses. :p But unfortunately he died in that battle. The horse lost 2 or 3 hits.

No further battles this turn. But the next turns will be far more active...although I fear it won't be too many turns left now...

Persian troops, sailing to aid in the peacekeeping efforts up north have been diverted to the southern Celtica. The Celts will pay for their sins. :hammer:

A small pack of Persian troops landed on our ground. Unfortunately they are too strong for the city next to which they landed, so I had to sacrifice the city.:suicide:

But within two turns the Persians will be crushed by the might of my troops!:mwaha:

and GPS to vikingruler...

GPS to vikingruler...turn 158

RegentMan: You are far ahead in turns...tell us something about the future;)

I didn't expect the Persians to be such sissies...hiding on their boats...

Just lucky to have received the turn, I was about to go to bed!
