Hot Seat could use greater diplomacy

Playing yesterday, I found myself surrounded by many civs that wanted to take my head off. I could really use a declaration of friendship from a civ my neighbors admired - a fellow hot seater. But there's no way to do that. The only diplomacy available between Hot Seat players is the trade menu. We can't denounce each other, declare friendship, or any of the other Discuss options. Firaxis probably thought (with some reason) that that could be done in person, but the game's diplomacy relies on letting the AI players know how civs feel about each other.

Agreed, all those options should be available. I would go as far as to say that you should be able to adjust your feelings on them (friendly, neutral, etc) as well, even if this would have no direct effect.
