Hot Seat Zoom Issue

Hello All! It's just a minor irritation that I have to report, but hopefully it'll be easy to sort out! I play hotseat Civ 4 on BTS with my girlfriend, but whenever it's my turn, the view is zoomed right in, so I have to zoom back out each time, which gets really annoying! Also, things like having resource symbols gets reset as well, which is less annoying but still it would be good if they just stayed on!

Any help would be much appreciated!

just checking: she is not the one changing these settings, right? they should be saved somewhere but most likely on a per install basis...

I'll have to test this on my install - just to check if it is the way it works or if it is a problem related to your install - I'll try to post back by tomorrow morning - if I don't please remind me (I cannot run the game right now - at work )

you are right - this seems to be bug in the game, I tried finding any resolution for this, but apparently no one found one yet

Heheh, I'd prefer it to be the case that I was being stupid! Thanks for looking, and hopefully there'll be a fix for it at some stage! It doesn't stay like that for the whole game, just for a while before fixing itself.

Yes. I found it infuriating turning on resource flags at the start of every turn. I've never played hotseat since so I forgot about it.

Do tile yield (ctrl+Y) and tile grid (ctrl+G) turn off as well?

I wonder what happens with signs and lines drawn on the map?
