Working on a personal fantasy mod again after a very very long time away.
This is a hot springs resource to go along with the geyser resource found elsewhere on this site. It has been tested in game and does work. The rar includes civpedia icons for using it both as a strategic resource (as I am using it) and as a bonus resource.

I haven't tried to upload anything on here in a very long time, so hopefully this works the first time around.

Hm... did a quick search for the geyser (which I'm sure I've seen on here) but couldn't find it -- maybe I'm imagining it.

Hmmm, I have been using Hot Springs for a couple of years as bonus resources in the Tundra, but I have just been using the Oasis icon to represent it. I will definitely have to take a look at yours.

Here is a screenshot showing how it looks in the Editor on grasslands, plains, and flood plains, using the Watercolor terrain. The pink line to the left of the resources doesn't show up in-game; not sure why it shows up when using the editor but since it doesn't show up in game I've not spent much time looking into it.
The slight pink ring around the edge is consistent with the vibrant colors that show up in hot springs and isn't that far from the bright orange/red color in the original image.

Could you maybe add a bit of greenery around it or make a copy with some greenery like very short pines or bushes around it. That is what you would expect with Hot Springs in Tundra.

The lines appears because your resources-pcx file has one extra pixel in either the vertical or horizontal axis. I had the same problem with a resources-file measuring 300x551. I got rid of the pink lines by resizing it to either 301x551 or 300x500. The extra pixel probably messes up the offset pointer system the editor uses to get the right resource-image from the file. The extra pixel occurs in the bottom of resources-files that have been expanded by modders.

This isn't correct, my finished resource pcx files are 300x551 and I don't have any problems with lines in the editor (I know a couple other mods that also use the same size with no problems).

I checked once more, and it's indeed index 254 that is the culprit. Apparantly, I must unknowingly have corrected the colormap issue at the same time I resized the image. Sorry for the mistake.

You're right. I just looked at the palette for my resources - index #252 and #254 were the same color, but the "dividing lines" between the resources were the wrong index. When I made sure the lines were on index #254, the pink bar disappeared.

I'll try to add a pine tree or two and upload that version, but I'll warn you that my skills are still somewhat limited. :D

Your skills, albeit somewhat limited, are still superior to mine. When it comes to making graphics, I do not have that ability.

My best attempt at adding pines. A bit small, but not too bad I hope.
