Playing CivIV (box version and v1.52)in the hotseat mode, I've found that if any of the advisor screens are left open at the end of a player's turn they remain open for the next player. Of special significance is the civics screen. If one player leaves it open, the other player will not only get to witness the civics screen.... but will be thrown into anarchy until the first player's civic style is acquired by the second player.
Of course, throwing your opponents into anarchy for turns can make for an interesting "sneak attack" to start a war, but I don't think it is supposed to be a part of the game. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but figured someone might be able to help.
Please... what can I do to fix these errors?
