How bad is your guilt?

We all got into civ somehow. Now we can't get out.

Often there is someone else to blame, but how about yourself... How many peolpes have you infected with the civ-plauge, so they are as stuck as you?

2 classmates
1 guy at work

How do you think I have time to waste for trying to infect somebody else with that plague? Since I caught the virus, I got locked in my bedroom, without anymore social life

Oh, yes, I only infected one person, me excepted. My boss when I was on an internship last year. Don't laugh, it's true. Now he hates me

I have been ineffective in spreading the plague of Civilization. Fishheads gave it to me some 6 years ago (has it been that long!

I had a partial success with a few friends. They got copies.....but don't play much.

Three years ago: my host brother in Mexico. He had a laptop, I had a laptop, we would sit on our beds and say nothing, while staring blankly at the screen, while gently moving and clicking our fingers, in this way creating serious repetitive strain injury, but we didn't care. We played civ1 by the way (very old laptops!) so we couldn't multiplay.

I gave my dad a very bad case of addiction and my brother and sister a mild case...they were able to pull away before it was too late....Dad wasn't so lucky however

I have infected my best friend... boing. He saw me playing it one day and was addicted. A couple of guys from school too. I still must get more hooked!!!!

I was unable to infect anybody as my sister hate games(yes it is true!!) and my friend did not have the patience for the game(he does not what he is losing and I am trying to bring him into our fold).

Ah.... My confession:

I was once at my girlfriends house, browsing throught her PC, and i stubled upon Civ2. She was making me a cup o tea, so i sat down for a quick wwii scenario. As i was playin', i noticed her little sister peekin over my shoulder (don't worry, this ain't gonna end like a porn story...) So i says: do you play this game? She says: not really, I says: why not? She says: it's boring + i dont know how to play it SO i says: i do'ya have it? She says: dad brought it home from work So i told her about the coolness of the game, and how to play it, and waddya know - she's hooked.

And another friend came back from the UK, took my CD and i didn't see him for like 2 weex - he was home playin...
