How can i play only in one age?

Sorry i dont speak english very vell. how can i play only in dark age? Can i play only one age?. Example; i will start the game but i didnt play medieval age only dark age.

Welcome to CFC.

Do you mean you only want to play the first age? You can go into the editor and create a scenario where you delete all the non-ancient techs. I've never tried this but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

So long as you don't have "custom map" selected under "rules" then I think you should be OK.

The first age is called the "Ancient Times" Sorry to be picky, but you had me a bit confused.
The only problem is that there is only a certain amount of stuff in the ancient times.

Some people have created mods that span a certain time. Rob created a mod called "Anno Domini" that focuses on the ancient and medieval times, while I am working on a mod call "Abeo Antiquus", which is purely ancient times.

Why not use the plug that gives you the techs/units for some of the conquests like mesopotamia? If you do ancient only you'll end up with some very unbalanced games where certain races hugely dominate. Immortals vs Spearmen = Spearmen lose.

You could also edit the tech costs with a factor, say *4 for a normal 4-age long game.
