This has been driving me nuts ever since Vanilla Civ3 came out. I'm never sure if by attacking a UU, I would give them a golden age if I lose. I would like to know if they've already had a Golden Age before making such an attack.

CRPSuite (link in my sig) should tell you when an AI civ has had one.

You might be able to tell during their GA if you happen to inspect a city and see more commerce and production going on than there should be.

yes, I no it is cheating, but just watch the replay ;)

A question that is relevant in the Current Demogame:

Do Captured Wonders count towards the Wonder-Induced GA?

Russia = Scientific & Expansionist
Russia built the Colussus: Expansionist.
Russia captured the Great Library from India: Scientific if it counts.

Russia has the Cossack as its current main unit. (We have Replacable parts and are about to get Combustion. Russia, before the War, had Electricity but not RP.)

Yes, captured wonders do count towards your GA. However, the check isn't run until you finish building a wonder. You could have captured the wonders necessary for triggering the GA, build a wonder that has nothing to do with it, and still get a wonder induced GA. It checks for all wonders in possession, not just the one being built.

That's something I didn't know..

Do you know if the check happens when a small wonder is built? In the Demogame Russia has not built another GW, but they would have been able to build at least the Intelligence Agency.
