Check your sent items folder and the message tracking...

Yep you have to delete the messages that you have sent as well as the ones you've received if you want to keep enough free space.

Also, the folder holds messages from the beginning, but usually only DISPLAYS the last 30 days, you may have old messages that have disapeared from the active list.

This happened to me to. Mine was full, and then I figured out that you had to delete all your sent messages.

You should 'uncheck' the box 'save a copy' when you sent a message.

Good point Shab, I forgot about that. Alot of things (yahoo mail comes to mind) delete sent items as the default. I didn't think about it. Doh!
