change the resolution in the options:advanced,options from the main menu.dont think you can change the font size

I too wish there was a way to increase the font size. Especially on the little tooltips and popups in the game.

Speaking of which...why is it when you hover over something, the popup comes up, stays there for less than half a second and then goes away again?

So then you have to hover over something multiple times in order to read what the darn thing is.

Really frustrates me how they handled the text information in this game.

Hmmm... I just started last night to go through some of the XML files for CivIV. I wonder if there is an XML that governs the display properties of text. Possibly there (if that sort of creature exists) we could make the changes to elongate the time tooltips stay on screen or increase the font sizes.

I can't get to my copy here, but for those of you that can, take a look.

Yup, bigger font would definitely be useful. I'm playing at 1680x1050 resolution on a 15.4" screen...
