I am playing a game in which I missed out on all policy giving wonders. With the update that now transfers the policy slot to the current owner of the wonder not the one who built it. I want to go conquer these wonders.
The problem is I played this game with ALL civs active.
There are still 15 alive and the whole world covered with cities. I don't remember who built what and do not know where.
Is there a function that tells me who built what throughout the game so I can have a much easier time locating these wonders?

I do not believe so. Which is lame. There is a lot of information missing from Civ 6.

You are going to have to find the wonder tile :(

To help you, turn on tile yields (just press "Y" in your keyboard). The only tiles without yields are desert, snow (those are very recognizable), districts and wonders. You just need to differentiate between districts and woders then, which isn't hard, given that every district has almost the same shape.

This may show up in the gossip section of each individual civilization (you'll have to click on all 15), but only if they built it recently. I believe (I may be mistaken) old gossip messages go away.
The above advice is good as well. Potala palace usually stands out on the map, Forbidden city does a little. Alhambra can be hard to spot though. Big Ben isn't hard to spot either.
