How do I see a list of my resources?

I've wondered this too.

For example...inside my city zone I build a farm on wheat. My question....do I need roads to the capital to get that wheat? So I go looking to see if that city has wheat and don't know where to find it.

All you have to do is hover over your happiness. It lists all the resources you have at least one of. Not sure why everyone is having a problem with finding it...it's right there.

Wheat is a "bonus" resource that improves production on the tile but has no other effect. Only luxury and strategic resources are actually gathered and have empire-wide effects, and neither of them requires roads.

It tells you how many you have at least one of, but it doesn't tell you how many you have (which would be useful for trading the others away or for knowing what will happen if a city-state stops providing it to you).

One unlisted thing:

Marble (a luxury resource) has a side benefit of increasing wonder production for the city working that tile. No need for a road to the resource.

Really? Do we need that much hand holding?

In the diplomacy trading screen it will display how many luxury items you have. From there you can determine trade. Solved.

If a City-State is providing you with an item...don't you think you should be like "Oh, wait, I don't have that item. That means if he stops sending it to me I lose it."

Do you guys want something that will get you resources without you having to anything or what?

No, I just want there to be a list of everything I own. I guess there isn't one.
