I'm not understanding the specialists UI at all. I can see the tiles where I can place a specialist but I have no idea how to see how many specialists I've placed to know what the negative cumulative impacts are. Is there somewhere in the City UI where I can see the specialists a city has?

No one? I'm struggling to understand specialists - it shows I've got two, every time my city offers the grow screen I click a blue tile but I never seem to get anymore specialists on the Legacy Paths screen. I literally have zero idea how to see how many specialists a city has.

I know it shows them on the Grow City screen. I believe there is a circle on the District that you can click to assign a Specialist (I’m at work right now so I can’t check the game or post a screenshot). After you leave that Grow City screen, however, I don’t know of any way to go back and see it again until it’s time to grow the city once more.

I don’t think you can, outside of the grow city screen.

But even beyond the addition of that kind of UI functionality, I feel like it would be good if there was some representation of specialists on the map itself. Doesn’t have to be complicated, even something like one bird flying around the tile for each specialist. Maybe that would look silly, idk, but it’s important enough information to convey during regular gameplay

City grow screen. I didn't even notice at first since I was just rushing through the game and not paying attention to ui. So missed out on exploration science legacy achievement, I'll get it next game now I know what to look for. The screen can be a bit of a mess, I accidentally placed a couple in my city center too.

I recommend installing this mod.

So, tomorrow a patch drops, I wonder if this gets addressed, given that, for example, Constitution policy kinda depends on the knowledge. I don't care if a mod might address this. The official game can't supply you with that knowledge as of now, and there's no Steam Workshop enabled yet for this full release AAA game for the full+ price, that includes hosting of a Denuvo client on my end that nobody asked for.

I'd be very surprised if there are any significant UI changes.

The Civ 6 SDK and Steam Workshop were live about ~6 months after Civ 6 released. Hopefully we can expect a similar timeline for Civ 7.

That's not how Denuvo Anti-Tamper works. There's no "client" or separate program on your PC (that's how the current major anti-cheat solutions work, like Denuvo Anti-Cheat or Vanguard, but Civ 7 does not have anti-cheat).

I think you can see it in the city screen, then look for the citizens panel. It should show where your specialists are working, but sometimes it's just easier to count manually.
