How do I separate models that coincide?

I tried to convert the models from Medieval 2: Total War, and I managed to import them into Blender, but I was surprised to find that they were completely stacked meshes, and there was no way to keep them apart

Can't you just drag the model around in the file? Alternatively just select the ones you don't want and hit delete.

No, they are a mesh that cannot be moved alone, and looks like a character with another head and body in the body... I don't know how to do it yet

I ve never seen such a unit in Medieval2. Which faction is it from?

Anyway, I have no idea of the result you want: which one is the good one? The dds you furnished with your blend doesn t apply to the model. I have a pink texture.
Can you post a picture of your model in TotalWar?

I'm mistaken, he's actually from the Empire Total War mod Mexico Unit Pack, probably from a Civil War mod at the earliest: Showing pink should be the wrong path, I can display the color normally, I converted it to nif to send it to you. Only one face is needed, because the modeling of each face is the same

In both cases, there are full trousers and a pair of shoes, as well as rolled up pants and bare feet. I tend to keep the shoes, do you have a way to separate them?

After an hour of surgery, I isolated the nude feet, the "under face" - this guy is not mexican but from an other planet :) - and the highest trouser (or it is the top of boots?).

Technically speaking, it just looks like the first nifswaps made a long time ago by mad scientists / great pionniers of Civ4 modding... The strangest is that the face I deleted was double: so it had three faces. Having a regiment of such soldiers would probably have crashed the game.
There is an untextured part under the belt.

Have a look to check if it s ok.
EDIT: Forget about it, I made something wrong. The rear part of the head has disappeared. I make an other attempt...

Dear tangjinfeng... Basically, in no special order: two eyes, two hands, patience and will :D

Joking aside, before being able to deal with blender and its tricks, I used to work with old softwares like paint (the old one...). I was putting markers on the texture (color points, crosses, squares...) to locate the various parts of the mesh on the model. Some of the creations I uploaded have been skinned this way. It was long.
Now I know a little about UV and understand a little more how blender works, I found a faster way to execute my original method which will certainly help you in such a case.

Select your model, go on UV editing mode. In upper left corner, there s a button with two arrows named "UV sync selection". Pressing it allows you to select elements on UVmap and find the corresponding faces on your mesh.
I felt like I discovered the existence of dark matter when I found this function !

Hope it will help you.
