How do I turn off the 2050 end date? And if possible, the space victory? THEY SUCK.

Just uncheck the options before game start. time victory etc. Wow, are you like neurologically challenged?

Don't be so insulting, he's likely new and hasn't messed with custom games or payed attention to the menus.

Correct, if he uses the "Play Now" singleplayer option you don't even get a chance to mess with most options - you have to use the "Custom Game" option.

Yeah that's what I didn't do, the custom game option. I didn't even bother with checking that, although I should have, because the previous Civ's didn't have these options. I'm glad Sid listened to feedback this time around.
