How do you make a colony in Final Frontier?

I play Civ 4 all the time and today I was trying out Final Frontier. One of the simplest things I can't seem to do. I made a colony ship and I sent it to a star system and I got the blue circle telling me its a good spot. When I click on the planet and menu comes up with three different listings of influence. I then click the continue button and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I can't seem to figure this out and I know it has to be something simple that I'm missing. I couldn't find anything else on the forum that talks about this but I can't be the only one having the problem.

Please help.

I did try right clicking and it did nothing. I'll try the number keys, I've never used them before in the game, its probably why I never thought to use them. Thank you.

You can try this as well. By making the system info into a double click you can select systems with a single click like it is in the main game.

This file will fix 2 problems with Final Frontiers.

1. Reverses the sort order for Starbases so that culture (actually just plot ownership) from older Starbases takes precedence over newer starbases, newer Stabases could otherwise be used to crowd out older ones.

2. changes the uncolonized system info popup from a left click to a double left click so that it no longer interferes with unit selection and goto commands.

Unzip and replace the existing file:
