How do You Open SAV. files

How do You Open SAV. files, i know how to open biq files in civ editor, but can you open SAV files and if so, how?

You open them in the game. It's a saved game. Add the file to the save folder and start the game.

I think he meant open it to edit and/or view it, not to load a game.

If that is the case, you need a software called CivAssist.

There is another one in which you are able to edit lots of things inside the .SAV file but I don't recall the name right now, it's in some topic at this forum.
