How do you play this game?!?

You're strange. Democracy's low corruption, trade bonus and cash rushing rocks. Just stop being such mad warmongers, it's not healthy.

Yay. War happiness. :D
I grow tired of your foolishness. Prepare to be crushed by my mighty industrial mobilization bonus combined with the huge amounts of money I have. :p

That's so pathetic that I can counter it twice:

a) I'm the one with the money. I'm the one who buys MPPs and MAs left and right.
b) Yay, more war happiness, more people to conquer and kick butt on for my Domination victory!

Not sure. But it would take longer to drain away and/or possibly come into effect later.

True, but I would suspect it only extends your war happiness effects by however many turns between the original DoW and the second (third, fourth, etc.). eg. If I get ten turns of war happiness at maximum from a DoW by Spain and then Germany joind in two turns later, I will end up with 12 total turns at maximum WH, flatly and absolutely. This is all just speculation, of course.

.....GK2 is well worth a read (athough it is long, it will teach you a lot.

Better yet, GK2 is looking for students, so join up. It's CivIII 1.29 at Monarch but the team and instructors will keep you on course.

Here's the thread:

GK2-The Training Game

Don't automate workers and micromanage the cities yourself. You'll learn a lot from this.
Don't use the government you hear that is the best one. You should choose the government that suits your game style. I play Regent/Monarch games most of the time, and I always stick to Monarchy the entire game, since I like to have lots of units and hate war weariness. Besides that I like to hurry improvements by payment. People say that Republic and Democracy are the best ones, but they simply don't suit me. Find out the government(s) that suit(s) you and stick to it(them).
