I'm just curious to know in details how this policy works :

http://civilization.wikia.com/wiki/Wars_of_Religion_(Civ6)

when you have not founded any religion , when you have no majority religion ,when you did found a religion but someone converted a majority of your cities. I'm prety sure someone here tested it intensively since the bonus is quite appealing.

Since I only played with a religion once ,I almost never dig south of the policy tree mid-game , turns out I've overlooked some pretty nifty looking policy.

It only cares about your majority religion and the enemy empire's majority religion. It doesn't care about who founded what.

If either you or the enemy empire does not have a majority religion, then the bonus will not apply. You must both have majority religions, and they must be different religions.

Most of the religion related bonuses in the game work like that. Spain and Poland's bonuses, for example, only care about majority religion. Arabia's bonuses only apply to the religion you founded, but that's because Arabia is the only civ who always founds a religion no matter what.

As far as I remember, this card also applies to religious units, which is strange, because the card says "+4 combat strength", not "+4 religious strength".
