How fast does the map load?

This is more of a display graphical survey.

One of my issues is the map loading slowly, or.. I think it does, especially on Hotseat.

So I wanna, start a Huge, 12 player map in Future Era, and pick random areas of the map, I wanna see how fast the tiles are filled in.

I've been told my current Processor isn't any good, but since i can't afford a new one, but when I swapped with my dad's, I didn't notice ANY diffrence what-so-ever. and because of the fact he was leaving the night to Italy, I panicked and swapped back.

So I wanna know if it was any better or it was just me, because it felt like there was no difference.

On both computers, map usually fills in and I see the grey tiles, but it doesn't load instantly, but slowly and partially.

On my XP DX9 it took a couple of "scans" to complete the screen. You could see the line change as it worked it's way from bottom to top.

On 7 DX11 Only when my computer gets hot do I see grey. Otherwise it is just there.

There was such a drastic difference, that it may seem like it is just there.

Well I see the grey tiles on DX9, and on pretty much low details too (I think I have some settings on Medium). But map loading times get bit too much, and completely unable to play hotseat because of the stupid reason to reload the map every time the turn comes, like it doesn't cache at all.
