How many more luxeries and resources can a guy take?

I never found out, what does the advisor say when you have like 5 of every resource and luxury. Is it still, "Acquire more resources, blah blah blah"?

I believe its because you have unhappy people in your Civ. I'm no expert on game mechanics but the game mechanics probably read that luxuries = happiness so unless happiness = 100% then you can always use more luxuries. Try turning your entertainment spending up a little bit? If you have some extra gold to spare that is.

I've had 100% of my people happy and she still tells me to get more luxuries.

The key phrase here is 'We should acquire more luxuries AND resources'.

Like Zachriel stated on another thread like this "She's a beaurocrat what do you expect".

All the advisors are like that, if they admit you have everything you need, they would be out of a job as you don't need them anymore.

I don't really see what's wrong with what she's saying in this situation. You only have access to dyes, silks and gems, as far as luxuries go. Getting more would be a good idea. What's so stupid about that? I've seen advisors say *much* more stupid things.
