How many women?

Hey, just wondering how many woman actually browse this pages and actively play civ?

Ok, not the most important topic, but interesting 2 know (at least for me...)

There are a few, but they tend to get run off if they're too obvious.

Women aren't armchair generals. Only men are. I defy 10 women to step forward to dispute that.

Here's one example: my wife is actually disgusted if she catches me playing civ for more than a couple of hours in one sitting (or worse, if she finds I've nodded off). But she'll actually play BF:V, or Quake, or anything "exciting".

Well, maybe an exception to the rule, but my GF loves civ. However she's starting to lose interest since she can't beat Emperor...

There have been polls in the past (one only a month or two ago) and the running rate seems to be about 10% women on the boards.

Get her to try the Celts or Vikings , I won with both the 1st time on emp.
Celts due to gallics and religious- vikings berserks are medieval marines .
I'm sure she pulls for the Sox too or you probably wouldn't have asked her
out in the first place .
