How random is Random AI civ selection?

I don't believe for a second civ leaders are "random". Whenever I pick one of the psycho leaders, usually I get another couple of psycho leaders as rivals. E.g. in my last game I went Monty, and had Napoleon, Genghis and Shaka as rivals (along with the Khmer, Willem and Pericles). This is normal. If I go a philosophical leader like Peter, I'll be sure to have Frederick and other such leaders in the game. I don't give a toss what anyone here says, this experience is so consistent as to be many times more believable than any poster's claims here.

You should keep a journal about this, calgacus. Make a note of every civ grouping in every game. Then you can publish your results as a searing tell-all thread directed at all the know-it-all bean-counters of the the CFC who never gave you a fair shake.

Meh, I just believe my own experience more than unverifiable claims made on this forum.
